Security incident notification

What we do and what we tell you if we confirm a security incident that affects your data. Last updated October 26, 2026.

01

Our commitment

If we confirm a security incident that affects your data, we'll notify you without undue delay, and within 72 hours of confirming it.

A security incident here means unauthorized access to, or loss, disclosure, or alteration of, customer data that Persistent Compute stores or processes.

02

How we'll tell you

We'll email the admins of each affected team, and the owner of each affected personal account, at the email address on the account.

If your contract or data processing agreement with us sets a different notice process or a shorter deadline, we'll follow that too.

03

What we'll share

What happened and when, as far as we know; which of your data was affected; what we've done to contain it and what we're still doing; what you may want to do to protect yourself; and who to contact with questions.

Investigations take time. If we don't know everything when we first notify you, we'll tell you what we know and send updates as we learn more.

04

If you notice something

If you believe your account or cloud computer has been compromised, email security@persistentcompute.ai right away.
